Are you ready to buy a house?
Well.. you'll need to first get pre-qualified for the mortgage!
A mortgage pre-approval is a letter from a mortgage broker or bank representative stating that they reviewed your initial information and that they may be willing to lend you a certain amount to purchase a property. Getting pre-approved for a mortgage is a the very first step in the home buying process as the pre-approval will let you know your price range for the home purchase.
Another important factor in getting a pre-approval: Any potential issue(s) will be discovered (and hopefully resolved) that might prevent you from getting a mortgage.
A mortgage preapproval also lets sellers know you are qualified and ready to buy when submitting an offer on their home. Getting a pre-approval letter for a mortgage shows that you’re serious about buying a home.
Pre-Approval Checklist:
1. Full Name (as it appears on your license);
